Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
VidsTracker (vidstracker.com) is operated by Subelo Media LTD, Larnaca, Cyprus (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information VidsTracker collects, how it is used and stored, and the choices you have.
VidsTracker uses YouTube API Services
VidsTracker uses the YouTube API Services to show public information about YouTube channels and videos. By using VidsTracker you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
VidsTracker only reads public YouTube data (channel names, avatars, subscriber counts, video titles, thumbnails, view counts and publish dates). It does not ask for access to your YouTube account, does not read your private YouTube data, and never posts, uploads or changes anything on YouTube.
Information we collect
- Access requests: if you join the waitlist we keep the email you give us, only to contact you about access. Ask us and we delete them.
- Your Google sign-in: when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture (scopes: openid, email, profile). We use them only to identify your account.
- What you create in the app: the folders you make, the channels you choose to track, the videos you save, your alerts and your settings (for example theme, default period, or a Discord webhook link you add for alerts).
- Feedback you send: the message and any screenshots you attach.
- Usage counters: how many channels you add and searches you run each day, used to apply fair-use limits.
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. See the Cookie Policy.
How we use it
Only to run VidsTracker for you: showing your tracked channels and their videos, sending the alerts you set up, answering your feedback and keeping the service within YouTube API quotas. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for advertising or marketing.
Where data goes
- Data is stored on our hosting provider (Railway) in a private database.
- If you add a Discord webhook, alert messages (video title, link, thumbnail, view count) are sent to that webhook.
- Requests for public YouTube data are made to Google’s YouTube Data API.
How long we keep YouTube data
Public YouTube data for channels you track is refreshed automatically several times a day. YouTube data that is no longer being refreshed (for example a channel nobody tracks any more) is deleted within 30 days.
Your choices
- Delete your account: in VidsTracker go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, folders, saved videos, alerts and settings.
- Export your data: Settings → Export gives you a copy of your folders, channels and saved videos.
- Revoke Google access: you can remove VidsTracker’s access to your Google sign-in at any time at Google security settings.
- Ask us: to access, correct or delete your data, email matteo@subelomedia.com. We answer within 30 days.
Children
VidsTracker is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell signed-in users in the app.
